Alessandra Meskita

Ale Meskita was born to a family of artists. She are up having the privilege of admiring artworks created by her mother as well as her family’s personal acquired collections during her childhood home in Brazil. At 15 she developed an affinity for painting, weaving and textiles, eventually starting her own fashion line in MESKITA in New York, 2010. Including big success between renamed luxury department stores world-wide. She became enthralled with threads and yards, finding much of her artistic inspiration in the creation of her own fabrics, treads and the structured weave movement of her embroidered fashion designs.

When it came time to fill wall space in her own Miami home in 2016, Ale decided to marry her aesthetic abilities for art with her exceptional tailored craftsmanship, creating her own artwork that was fitted to her living room. She intricately entwined her acrylic-painted canvas with different color cords and yarns to give intensity and intriguing movement of textured colors. Ale wanted to create art that could be touched and retain its form, but also change shape when admired from different angles and perceived as a completely different art piece. Through weaving, and painting, she was ultimately able to create a dance movement on her walls, incorporating innovative kinetic effect of change colors and textures depending on the angle from which the art is appreciated.

Because of its original and unique genius traits, Ale’s work has quickly gained a very significant amount of recognition and admiration in a short period, turning her attention towards a full time artist career. She currently resides in Miami, Florida, working with several internationally acclaimed galleries, luxury interior designers, and prominent art collectors.

MESKITA also creates custom bespoke art for the collectors that would like to encounter an exciting and exclusive artist experience by delicately selecting and pairing colors, styles and textures with the artist to perfectly dress and match their space. As a fashion designer who became an artist, Ale looks forward to one day recreating fashion, but this time around, influenced and inspired by her artworks.
