Joel Moens de Hase

My art is a tribute to women.
The woman we secretly desire, the one we approach subtly,
the ones who devour us from inside.
It is also art of today made with tools of today (digital photography, computers, software…)
My art concept is inspired by the quantity of images our digitalized and
hyper-connected world is constantly shooting at us.
Each artwork is made out of 8.000 to 12.000 different photos of women bikinis.
The main picture of my works shows a radiant woman,
sure of herself and confident in her power.
My art can be read in many different ways depending on whether the viewer is
looking from a distance, closely or meditating about the title.
